Head into IMAS with family and friends and learn about the Olmecs and the other Mesoamerican civilizations. Drop into an Olmec presentation, contribute to the Olmec Colossal Head Community PiñataBuild, decorate a jaguar mask, weave Ojo de Dios and more!
Visitors are invited to participate in a colorful community art project at this years Exploring the Olmecs at IMAS alongside artist Josuè Rawmirez, who will be exhibiting Piñatabstract at IMAS this February 2026. Together, visitors will apply colorful stips of tissure paper and create a vibrant colossal head.
