The program journeys from the dreamy\, storybook world of Janáček’s Fairy Tale to the rich and expressive harmonies of Rachmaninoff’s Sonata for Violoncello and Piano\, with a contemporary touch from Jessie Montgomery. This beautifully curated performance promises to move\, inspire\, and captivate listeners of all ages.\nThe UTRGV Concert Series at IMAS is a unique opportunity to spend Sunday afternoons surrounded by fine art and live music. Each concert highlights the exceptional talent of the UTRGV School of Music faculty and students\, featuring a rotating lineup of genres and instruments—piano\, cello\, jazz\, voice\, percussion\, and more—performed in the galleries of the International Museum of Art & Science.\nThis concert is included with general admission and is free for IMAS Members and UTRGV College of Fine Arts Patrons of the Arts.
