DESCRIPTION:Learn about the influence of corn in the IMAS Mexican and Latin American Folk Art collection and the cultural significance of tamales in Mexico and Latin American history and the process of Nixtamalization. In this workshop participants will practice spreading masa\, making tamales and exploring the tamale process in this hands-on adult workshop.\nParticipants must be 16 years of age or older.
