DESCRIPTION:Classes take place at Hinovations Art Gallery in McAllen\, Texas.\nPRIMATES SUMMER by Instructor Artist Raquel Hinojosa\n \nEmbark on an educational journey this summer with our PrimatesArt Class\, where young minds delve into the fascinating world of primates through artistic exploration. From intricate sketches to vibrant paintings\, kids will discover the diverse species\, behaviors\, and habitats of these intelligent creatures\, fostering a deeper understanding of the natural world\nwhile honing their artistic skills.  This summer\, we are offering Eleven Weeks of Summer Art Workshops.  Each week will feature three to four Primate Projects.  Students will explore their creative side by using different media as they Draw and Paint on paper.\nClass 1 June 3 – 6\, “Gorilla\, Gibbons\, & Chimpanzee” Drawing & Painting Class.\nClass 2 June 10 – 13\, “The Colobus Monkeys” Drawing & Painting Class.\nClass 3 June 17 – 20\, “Goeldi’s\, Diademed\, Woolly Lemur & Aye-aye” Drawing & Painting Class.\nClass 4 June 24 – 27\, “Mandrills & Baboons” Drawing & Painting Class.\n**Class 5 July 1 – 2\, “Macaque & Mangabey” Drawing & Painting Class.  Please Note this is 2 Day Class.\nClass 6 July 8 – 11\, “Talapoin & Allen’s Swamp\, African Vervet & Tantalus Monkeys” Drawing & Painting Class.\nClass 7 July 15 – 18\, “Red Moustached\, De Brazza’s Guenon\, Diana & Mona Monkeys” Drawing & Painting Class.\nClass 8 July 22 – 25\, “Patas Monkey & Forest Guenons” Drawing & Painting Class.\nClass 9 July 29 – 1\, “Bushbabies ” Drawing & Painting Class.\nClass 10 Aug 5 – 8\, “Orangutan\, Langur & Macaques” Drawing & Painting Class.\nClass 11 Aug 12 – 15\, “Buffy Saki\, Capuchin\, & Pygmy Marmoset” Drawing & Painting Class.\nTuition Cost\, Age Group & Schedule\n$105 per child/class\, Ages 5 – 12 yrs\nMonday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm or  1:30 pm to 4:30 pm\nAll materials are provided plus Light Snack & Water.\n \n*Notes\nAll classes include Drawing with pencils and oil pastels and Painting with mixed media like acrylics and watercolor paints.  Students are provided with aprons but should also wear appropriate clothing that might get stained with paint.  \n \nThese Classes are taught by Professional Artists and include Step-by-Step Instructions.  Students should be prepared to follow instructions to take advantage of the full experience.  \n \nDue to Limited Space\, No Refunds are Allowed and Absent Days are Not rolled over to the following Weeks.  Thank you.
